Benchmark Magazine is all about bringing change not from intimidation and coercion but through attraction and inspiration brought about by outstanding practices of individuals and organizations producing superior and excellent work results. BM believes that changing the whole world at any rate is unrealistic and not achievable therefore putting our efforts where real change really occurs: one reader, one life at a time.

After decades of experience the Philippines has become one of the sob stories of nationhood. Wallace Report even noted that this country has remained stagnant for the last 30 years in comparison to its neighbors. BM takes note of that as we step into a higher gear publishing high impact people to jump start an awareness of excellence. BM dreams to see again the glorious days when we were at the helm of other Asian countries even giving aid to countries in need.

The good news is that even in these fiscal years, we still catch a glimpse of people who dare to win. Filipinos who excel in the field of sports and entertainment, career professionals making waves in top corporations around the globe, inventors showcasing their ingenuity, businessmen extracting all the creative juices in them to perfect their craft into world class standard and most of all, ordinary people attaining extra ordinary accomplishments. These are the true Filipino benchmarks – achieving greater heights amidst difficulties.

…”we have a real and insidious enemy that we must vanquish, and this enemy is worse that the intransigence of any foreign power. We are our own enemy. And we must have the courage and the will to change ourselves!...neither education nor revolution can succeed if we do not internalize new attitudes, new ways of thinking”.
F. Sionil Jose

“The wisest man could ask no more of Fate than to be simple, modest, manly, true, safe from the many, Honored by the few : To count as naught in World, or Church or State: But inwardly to be great.”
James Russel Lowell

“No race can prosper till it learns there is AS MUCH DIGNITY IN TILLING A FIELD as in writing a poem”.
Booker T. Washington

“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep the streets even as MICHAEL ANGELO painted or BETHOVEN composed music, or SHAKESPEAR wrote poetry. He should sweep the streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say “here lived a GREAT STREET SWEEPER who did his job well”.
Martin Luther King Jr.

Benchmark Magazine envisions itself to be the media gateway for present and future movers and shakers of our society. BM wants to cascade to readers how do these icons think, how do they face adversities, where do they get their strength, how do they practice, what inspire them to succeed, who influences them and the likes and hopefully by doing so, people will be changed and challenged to become better PEOPLE and achieve greater heights.
